Abby Lowry is a Senior at Skyline High School. Although coming from a lifestyle of dance studios and dance performances for many years growing up, she now enjoys running, swimming, hiking, and biking. She is currently racing for the Skyline High School Mountain Bike team and preparing to go to State Championships. Along with training for bike races, she is training for the hawaiian half ironman this spring and eagerly learning new techniques and training methods for that. Outside of sports, Abby loves the opportunity she has to learn. Whether that be learning from teachers, classes, literature, history, friends, family, and strangers; seeing the world through a view outside of her own is a core value for her. Abby is fascinated with the outdoors, she loves being outside and watching the world in awe. The smell of desert rain falling quietly against the sand, the whisperings of the wind dancing through fallen leaves on the forest floor; the simple yet intricate things you have to slow down to notice are the things she looks forward to most throughout the day.
