Maddy Hines is in ninth grade and has been writing creatively since third grade. She was attempting to write books from a young age and started in journalism in seventh grade at Wasatch Junior High. She took the yearbook class in both eighth and seventh grade, which included interviewing teachers and students as well as taking pictures and making the yearbook.
