Bailey McKeithen, a Freshman at Skyline High School, stated that, this year, she pulled a prank on her dance teacher. One of her classmates asked if she could go to the bathroom, and after she left, the rest of the group slowly followed one by one until the room was almost empty. Consequently, her teacher wasn’t too happy with it, but when everyone came back, they all laughed and continued.
From an artistic and cultural point of view, April Fools Day is really about creativity. A good prank takes imagination, timing, and planning. It’s similar to storytelling or performing, because it surprises the audience and gets a reaction. Even small jokes can become memorable moments when they are well done. April Fools Day is more than just a day of jokes; it is a time where people can step away from normal routines and share moments of laughter with others. Even small pranks can create memories that people remember and talk about for a long time. Whether it is through friends, families, or even online trends, the tradition continues to bring people together in a fun and creative way.

As said by Freshman Ada Anderson, “I think April Fools is very underrated. People need to prank more often.”
